I'm Chris, a former competitive rugby player, and now I play high-level Masters representative Touch Rugby.
At around 38, my recovery started taking longer. The niggles piled up. I was leaning on painkillers more than I liked, then a serious back injury changed everything. I had 2 major surgeries and was forced to withdraw from my national squad playing in the 2024 Touch World Cup.
